The space in your hangar is going to have to be expanded. Hangar 9 has just introduced a new De Havilland Twin Otter! The Twin Otter is one of “modeldoms” most favorite scale subjects and this one makes the twin engine (or motor) subject easy to assemble for all RC sport scale pilots. It also has fixed gear and this model includes very detailed, scale-like landing gear. The high wing design and Clark Y airfoil provides an easy-to-fly and predictable model while an electric power option results in a reliable twin motored subject for someone venturing into their first twin aircraft. The model uses standard radio equipment so there is no need for special servos or installation procedures. It has many more features that will appeal to a wide range of RC pilots. Peter Goldsmith, product developer for the Twin Otter, is with us today to outline those features that Hangar 9 has built into the Otter.
Watch our video presentation and see just how intriguing this airplane is. I think you might have to spend some time “day dreaming” about this subject!
